Just a really quick jot of thoughts before I go to bed and process it all through sleeping. But now that I've gotten to think about it... I can't help but be utterly amazed by this film. It's awwwwwwwwsome-ness I can't begin to describe...

likes:

The imagery, omfg, it couldn't have been more fantastic. The opening sequence with the death eaters rampaging all over london. lol.

I don't know if i like this point or not, but i found the this film about 50/50 with the romantic comedy bits and the darker bits. like, for every funny/slightly romantic scene, it proceeds with a darker scene. and it's like, we all know what book 6 was all about, and i'm fairly sure the romantic bits weren't THAT emphasized. but i liked most of those moments anyway. i'll carry on with stuff i thought was cringe worthy in a minute.

Another thing i liked was bellatrix. i don't know why, but seriously, helen bonham carter is amaaaaaaazing as bellatrix. crazy psychotic bitch does helen well in this film. i think this is Evie's thinking rubbing off on me. hahaha. she likes helen so yeah. lawl.

draco being the torn self that he is

draco having more screen time

draco finally showing his acting skills.. tho.. i think it could be better..

ron/hermione moments <3

THE MUSIC! <3

The inferi themselves were sooooo freakishly creepy and dark, and oh so creepy, that it was well done. Didn't picture them exactly like that in my head... but close enough :)

dislikes:

THE HARRY/GINNY SCENES!! THEY WERE ALL WEIRD, AND AWKWARD AND TOTALLY RANDOMALLY PUT IN THERE THAT IT HAS NO LOGICAL FLOW THROUGHOUT THE MOVIES

I WAS SO ENTIRELY SHOCKED BONNIE WRIGHT GOT MORE LINES IN THE FILM, THAT I WAS SHOCKED WHEN SHE SPOKE DURING THE SCENES SHE WAS SPEAKING IN THE BEGINNING WHEN SHE WAS SURPRISED WITH HARRY'S LUGGAGES BEING IN THE LIVING ROOM.

ron being an idiot for not seeing hermione's feelings

ron being an idiot and not remmebering muttering hermione's name

hermione being an idiot and not just getting with ron

just them being idiots that they are for not realizing their feelings yet, lol.

I swear i saw a random make out couple in some corridor scene, that it looked so randomly put in...

RANDOM OTHER THOUGHTS:

Voldemort's present self didn't have ANY screen time in this film, lmao. it was all his past selves.

I WISH it was the actor who did tom riddle in the 2nd movie!! ahhhhhh!! but i guess he would probably look too old?? *cries* i liked him thooo, he was much much muuuuch hawter.

Actor who plays Cormac reminds me of ryan philippe or something.. lawl.

And i always imagined Slughorn more sure of himself and.. uhh.. i don't know. just not exactly what i pictured to be Slughorn.

-------------------------

More in depth thoughts in the way, I'm sure... just these initial thoughts first :)

LOL, WHY THE HELL AM I THE ONLY ONE OUT OF US WHO LIKES HELENA SO MUCH!? She's fucking amazing.

I think that opening sequence may be my favourite. The first movie's one still holds a place in my heart though lol.

I get what you're saying about the romance balancing out the dark. I liked that.

MALFOY'S SCREENTIME. Tom was amazing. I AM SO HAPPY that he finally got his time.

LOL I AGREE WITH ALL OF THIS. I was like OMG, SHE SPEAKS. And the H/G scenes were awful and forced. Shoelace tying? SHOELACE TYING? My god, that was so awkward lmao lmao.

They will realise it in the next film! Or part 2 at least lmao. IT WILL BE SO EPIC.

I missed the Voldemort actor from the second film as well! But isn't he like 30? LOL.

Actor he plays cormac reminds me of ryan philippe or something

OH MY GOD YES. I THOUGHT THE SAME THING. SO SO TRUE.

I pictured Slughorn to be way fatter lmao, but i loved the way he was portrayed in the film. :)

SDFGHJKL NEED TO REWATCH. PROBABLY GOING AGAIN ON SUNDAY HEE.

I totally just snagged a few new HP Icons :)

Anyway, OMFG, yeah, I wonder when the director will realize how bad and awkward all the Harry/Ginny scenes put together are. It just really.. ahh.. it doesn't fit. And YES, THE SHOE TYING THING WAS JUST SOOOO FUCKING WEIRD. AND AWKWARD. I mean, seriously.. she was basically in a bath robe for goodness sakes, and Harry just STANDS there. >__<

I just remembered more of the opening sequence. It opened with Harry and Dumbledore being mobbed by cameras and the press. I thought that was a nice reminder of what happened in the last film. Like to force the audience to remember: SIRIUS DIED REMEMBER PEOPLE???

But then the Death Eaters rampaging everywhere just owned :)

Ohh, real quick: As much as I hated what the actress who plays Lavender was wearing for the premiere, she was good at making Lavender totally CLINGY.. :)

Hang on hang on I LOVE HELENA BONHAM CARTER TOO. I had GOOSEBUMPS every time she was on screen. And dude, you know how that woman who ended up playing Narcissa was supposed to play Bellatrix and then couldn't because she got pregnant? During that whole unbreakable vow scene I just kept thinking 'Thank God Thank GOD she didn't get cast as Bellatrix thank you Lord for having her get knocked up before she got the part Thank GOD' lol. Seriously though, nobody else could have played Bellatrix as well as Helena.

Michelle, this is one movie we SHOULD HAVE WATCHED TOGETHER. SERIOUSLY. DRAPE MOMENTS ALL OVER THE PLACE. Snape was fucking pressing him against a wall. Lol, all those good memories.

yeah I thought the COS Tom Riddle was hotter too, but this one was way more in accordance with the young kid Tom, so that was fine by me. And I LOVE THAT KID. He was amazing. He was so creepy. He was SO Voldemort. Just perfect. I'm beginning to think that I actually have paedophilic tendencies, I LOVE that kid :P
With the rest I can just say I totally agree with you on everything, I'm gonna elaborate more in my own reaction post later on :D

AHHH, I WANTED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE WITH YOU TOO!! With all of you guys actually, but THIS is the one movie we HAD to see together of all movies because of all the Drape goodness in it.

Remember the scene, "I DON'T NEED PROTECTION!" Epic. That's all I'm going to say. Epic. Fucking. Goodness. :)

And yes, little kid Voldemort was really good in this film too. :) He totally captured the "I am a tortured and totally on the way in becoming a pyscho maniac person in the future."

Back to Drape, GAWWWD, Draco's scenes were awesome. Snape's scenes were awesome. Them together? Priceless :)
